Terms & Conditions

RATES
  • all prices quoted are in ZAR
  • rates are per person per night
  • rates include accommodation and Continental and Cooked breakfast
  • management reserves the right to change rates without notice; however rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured

PAYMENT

Deposit
  • all bookings require a 50% deposit of total accommodation charge, which is payable within 2 days of making the reservation - after 2 days without deposit payment, the room(s) will be released
  • all deposits are non refundable unless the reservation is cancelled at least 14 days before scheduled date of arrival and only if the room has then been resold

Balance
  • the balance and any additional expenses incurred during your stay must be paid in full prior to departure

Payment Methods

Payment may be made by any of the following means:
  • cash
  • direct transfer
  • credit cards accepted - Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club & Amex
  • cheques - only accepted for deposits where there is adequate time to ensure bank clearance

BOOKINGS

Booking confirmation
  • acknowledgement of a booking enquiry will be made, stating the total room charge, deposit required and detailing any additional information that we may require
  • upon receipt of the deposit, confirmation of your booking will be forwarded    to you by email or post

Amendments to your booking
  • should you wish to change the detail of your reservation after it has been confirmed please do so in writing
  • Please note that any changes can only be made subject to room availability

Cancellations
  • all cancellations must be made in writing
  • all deposits are non refundable unless the reservation is cancelled at least 14 days before scheduled date of arrival AND only if the room has then been resold

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
  • rooms will be available at 14:00 on the day of booked arrival
  • departure will be by 11:00 on the booked day of departure
  • delayed departures must be arranged with the prior approval of management beforehand to ensure availability
  • when making your travel arrangements it is your responsibility to ensure you arrive on the correct day and time; no refund can be given for delayed arrival or early departure

ACCOMMODATION
  • the room you are allotted is only for the people specified in the booking
  • the maximum occupancy is 2 adults per room
  • unfortunately we cannot accommodate persons under the age of 12
  • we also regret that no pets are allowed
  • specific room requests will be fulfilled wherever possible, however no obligation can be undertaken in this respect
  • Harrison's House is a non smoking establishment

INSURANCE

Personal Insurance
  • it is your responsibility to take out appropriate personal travel insurance

DAMAGE TO CONTENTS / PROPERTY
  • the client shall take all reasonable care of the room allotted
  • in the event of any damages to the room, a suitable amount will be added to your final bill to rectify the damage and/or replace the item(s) affected

COMPLAINTS
  • any problems that may arise during the course of your stay at Harrison's House should be notified immediately or within a reasonable period with Management, so that immediate action may be taken
  • complaints after your stay should be made in writing within 28 days of your departure

OUR LIABILITY
  • neither Harrison’s House, it's owners nor any of it's employees accepts any liability for any loss, injury or damage howsoever arising sustained by any person in or around the premises.

PAIA
